Job Summary

This exciting role will see you collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care addressing patient/family needs, while providing direct and indirect care in your area of specialization to patients and families. You will be expected to evaluate the quality and appropriateness of care delivery, serving as a clinical resource to others and ensuring timely progress toward the best clinical outcome in the most cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competent in the care of a specific patient population; independently practices with solid knowledge and clinical skills; engaged in advancing own practice.
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care addressing patient/family needs.
  • Provides direct and indirect care in the area of specialization to patients and families, and objectively and systematically evaluates the quality and appropriateness of care delivery.
  • Serves as a clinical resource to others.
  • Serves as an effective Primary Coordinating Nurse; collaborates and coordinates with physicians and all disciplines involved in the patient's care to assure timely progress toward the best clinical outcome in the most cost-effective manner.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required.
  • One year nursing experience is required, ambulatory/outpatient experience or population-specific experience is preferred. Solid knowledge and clinical skills are essential.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education every two years or 5 per year is mandatory.

The estimated salary for this position is around $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. All information provided will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
