Overview

Maintain and improve the performance of our luxury hotel by implementing innovative strategies and leading a high-performing team.


Salary

$227,000 to $292,000 per year. Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business plans to maximize customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
  • Lead the property leadership team in executing business plans, holding them accountable for strategy execution and individual professional development.
  • Verify that sales engines are leveraged and initiate independent and proactive sales activities to generate demand.
  • Ensure objectives and goals of Marriott and property owners align to achieve brand positioning and success.
  • Become actively involved in the local community, building strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 8 years' experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area.
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 6 years' experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area.
  • Preferred: General Manager experience in limited or full-service property. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights. Property industry work experience demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance.
