About the Job

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Intensive Care Dialysis Nurse Specialist. This challenging role will provide you with opportunities to develop your clinical and leadership skills, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated RN to work in our Inpatient Renal Replacement Services setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients requiring hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapies, ultrafiltration, and Apheresis. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to patients requiring hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapies, ultrafiltration, and Apheresis.
  • Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment and progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in nephrology.
  • Supervise and direct Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Current RN licensure in good standing preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse; Nephrology experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 200 pounds; prolonged standing and walking required.
  • Ability to travel to regional meetings and educational events as needed.

Salary and Benefits
