Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Administrative Coordinator to support our Utilization Management team. The successful candidate will assist with non-clinical administrative tasks, including benefit verification, authorization creation and management, and case documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform member or provider-related administrative support, including benefit verification and authorization creation and management.
  • Review authorization requests for initial determination and/or triage for clinical review and resolution.
  • Provide general support and coordination services, including answering and responding to telephone calls, taking messages, and researching information.
  • Assist with reporting, data tracking, and dissemination of information related to Continuity of Care and Peer to Peer reviews.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of experience in healthcare claims/service areas or office support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in a healthcare/managed care setting or previous work experience within the division
  • Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding

Working Conditions:

The incumbent is required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers.
