About the Role

This is a casual, float pool position that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, performing routine medical procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

  • Administer medications, perform routine medical procedures, and provide wound care as needed.

    ">
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and facilitate effective communication.

    ">
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and participate in peer review activities.

Requirements

  • ">
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program and current licensure in the state where the facility is located or multistate licensure compact agreement.

    ">
  • At least 0-2 years of experience as an LPN, with preference given to those with IV therapy certification.

    ">
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.

    ">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

    ">
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting clearance.

    ">
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull equipment as needed.

    ">
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions in complex situations.
