Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at AHC Northside LLC. As a RN, you will be responsible for providing personalized healthcare to our residents and supervising other caregivers to ensure their comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including prescribed treatments, such as changing dressings, drawing blood, changing catheters, inserting or removing NG tubes, doing laboratory work, etc.
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff
  • Perform administrative duties, such as documenting assessments, managing inventory, and requesting supplies and equipment
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents
  • Perform emergency procedures, such as CPR
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the state of Tennessee or compact state as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
  • Supervise support staff, including training, scheduling, and assigning work; reviewing performance and assisting in problem-solving for staff issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or better in Nursing
  • Associate's or better in Nursing
