Rush Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse 2 to join our Emergency Department team at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in unit-based quality initiatives, research, and evidence-based activities
- Utilize system-wide resources to support decision-making and action
- Recognize patterns of problems in a specific patient population and initiate actions to address
- Communicate current evidence-based information with peers
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families through effective communication
- Collaborate consistently and effectively with other disciplines and services
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure required
- Maintain current BLS certification
- Earned nursing degree at the baccalaureate level or higher
- Analytical ability is required
- Communication skills are required in order to lead and teach
