Job Title: Assistant Clinical Supervisor

ResCare Premier Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Clinical Supervisor to join our team in Tacoma, WA.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Clinical Supervisor will assist the Clinical Supervisor in providing clinical and administrative support to our therapy team. This includes developing interventions, creating materials for behavior programs, and providing training and consultation to families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Clinical Supervisor with clinical and administrative tasks.
  • Develop interventions focusing on positive practices to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills.
  • Provide ongoing training and consultation for families in the implementation of positive supports and behavioral interventions.
  • Assist with developing goals in areas such as communication, functional living skills, social skills, self-help skills, and recreational and leisure skills.
  • Assist with the intake process, observations, and preparation of the consumer's initial behavior assessment.
  • Shadow Behavior Therapists, review progress reports and data, and provide periodic reviews of Behavioral Therapists' performance.
  • Conduct Inter-Observer Agreements (IOA) to ensure accuracy of client data and coach Behavior Therapists to reduce data discrepancies.
  • Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field or enrolled in a Master's program.
  • 2-3 years of experience working as a Behavior Therapist.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with children aged 2-18 with developmental disabilities.
