Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality interpreting services to deaf and hard-of-hearing students in a virtual educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver live sign language interpretation for virtual educational sessions.
  • Foster effective communication between students and their teachers.
  • Collaborate with educators to address and meet the needs of individual students.
  • Utilize a comprehensive toolkit to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.

Requirements:

  • EIPA score of 3.5 or above.
  • Ability to obtain an Oregon interpreter license upon offer acceptance.
  • Experience in educational interpreting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and capability to thrive in a remote work setting.
