Job Summary

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by collecting and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis. Your expertise in performing laboratory tests and evaluating data will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and validity of laboratory results.

Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate quality control data to assess the accuracy, reproducibility, and validity of laboratory results.
  2. Report results in a prescribed manner, such as via computer, telephone, or fax.
  3. Maintain records and reports as needed to ensure adherence to necessary quality control measures.
  4. Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency.

Requirements

  • Associates degree required.
  • Registered as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) - ASCP or equivalent required.
