At Current USA, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in providing innovative services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and screening clients using standardized testing and clinical observational skills. They will provide speech/language therapy according to OPWDD guidelines and maintain documentation in a professional and confidential manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess clients using standardized testing and clinical observational skills
  • Provide speech/language therapy according to OPWDD guidelines
  • Maintain documentation in a professional and confidential manner
  • Attend meetings and collaborate with other professionals, staff, and families
  • Stay up-to-date with professional knowledge, skills, and abilities through continuing education and training

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • NYSED licensure in Speech/Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification preferred
  • TSHH certification preferred
  • Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
