Job Summary:

The VP, Pricing Strategist will manage business analytics activities, pricing strategy, and cost of goods optimization to maximize product profitability. The primary focus will be on developing comprehensive pricing analytics aligned with business strategies.

The successful candidate will work closely with Product Management and Finance to drive business growth, product strategies, and support Meitheal's financial goals. Key responsibilities include facilitating cross-functional collaboration, overseeing pricing activities, and implementing direct and National/Regional Account RFPs/bids.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage development and implementation of pricing and contracting strategies
  • Provide oversight of price and financial analytics for discussion and decision-making
  • Work with team members to monitor pricing intelligence and development process
  • Provide feedback on pricing analysis and guidance for contract implementation
  • Evaluate product profitability and identify opportunities for cost optimization improvements
  • Manage collaboration to launch new products, focusing on initial contract pricing suggestions
  • Support Medicare/Medicaid pricing and rebate calculations, as well as Federal Government pricing for contracts/agreements
  • Coordinate quarterly review and approval of 340B and Federal Government calculations and pricing
  • Oversee CRM application management of Customer Master Data, Sales Targeting/Performance, Customer Feedback, and Opportunity Reporting
  • Responsible for territory analysis, account alignment, supporting territory optimization, and performance management
  • Evaluate and manage quota setting and incentive reporting for various sales teams

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position manages all employees of the Pricing department and is responsible for performance management and hiring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business-related discipline
  • 15+ years of increasing responsibility and experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales and/or commercial pharmaceutical contracting experience
  • Possesses knowledge of business, financial, legal, and commercial contract processes and requirements
  • Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape including Wholesalers, GPO, IDNs & Federal Government

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Tableau and EDI transactions

Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
