Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this role is $45.00 - $63.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Renal Care Professional to join our team at DAVITA. The successful candidate will deliver compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis setting.
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families while working collaboratively with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with patients to oversee their care, conduct patient observations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Your expertise in nephrology and dialysis will enable you to provide empathetic, compassionate care to patients who often require unique treatment plans.
- Building long-term relationships with patients and their families.
- Working collaboratively as part of a positive and supportive team.
- Delivering care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring advanced nursing skills and knowledge.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- An Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N). Three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for a nursing degree.
- A strong understanding of nephrology and dialysis principles.
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) settings is preferred.
- Certification in Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is an asset.
