Renewal of Care Specialist

The estimated salary for this role is $45.00 - $63.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.

We are seeking a Renal Care Professional to join our team at DAVITA. The successful candidate will deliver compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis setting.

You will work closely with patients to oversee their care, conduct patient observations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Your expertise in nephrology and dialysis will enable you to provide empathetic, compassionate care to patients who often require unique treatment plans.

• Building long-term relationships with patients and their families.
• Working collaboratively as part of a positive and supportive team.
• Delivering care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring advanced nursing skills and knowledge.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• An Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N). Three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for a nursing degree.
• A strong understanding of nephrology and dialysis principles.
• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) settings is preferred.
• Certification in Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is an asset.
