Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
  • Communicate patient needs and responses through appropriate verbal and written correspondence
  • Ensure documentation is complete and accurate regarding all aspects of patient care
  • Operate imaging and specialty equipment, staying up-to-date on medical device uses
  • Minimize patient and staff exposure to radiation
  • Assume responsibility for direct care of patients during procedures
  • Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation
  • Assist with patient/family education and keep them informed of patient progress
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Registered in Nuclear Medicine with the ARRT or NMTCB
  • Minimum of two years of experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
