Senior Audiologist Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audiologist Team Lead to join our team at Sutter Health.
As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with hearing, balance, and other related disorders. You will lead program teams such as inpatient, outpatient, and acute rehab and/or other specific therapy services required to meet hospital California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements.
You will serve as a subject matter expert, developing key departmental policies and procedures, and leading and influencing change initiatives within the department and with other key stakeholders. While under direction, you will facilitate and/or lead department level participation in organization-wide performance improvement initiatives/projects applying Lean/Sutter Improvement System concepts and methods.
You will provide staff performance appraisal input, and cover for supervisor/manager/director absence, if requested. Additionally, you will serve as an inter-department/inter-affiliate operational expert resource, and a clinical instructor for assigned students. You will adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited audiology program
- AUDIO-Licensed Audiologist
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- ASHAA-Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology
- 8 years recent relevant experience
- Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement, and ability to work independently
- Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements
- Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements
- Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies
- Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service, and community relations abilities
- Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills
- Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement
- Ability to lead and build teams

- Able to use computer systems for data analytics, developing presentations, and other necessary documents

Salary Information: The estimated salary range for this position is $66.27 - $82.83 per hour. Please note that this range has been adjusted for the location and does not include any specific geographic differentials.
