Patient Services Coordinator Job Description

Penn Medicine is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and innovative medical research. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical teams and contributing to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist managers and physicians in maintaining a patient-focused environment
  • Support the delivery of high-quality care and patient satisfaction
  • Oversee daily operations and schedules for assigned areas
  • Communicate effectively with staff, managers, and physicians to ensure daily performance expectations are met
  • Develop and maintain APM templates and master schedules
  • Manage financial reports and work queues
  • Resolve issues and prioritize recovery of missing charges
  • Act as a liaison between staff and management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of medical office experience
  • Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience
  • Successful completion of EMR training/tests
