We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Log Clerk to join our team at Amentum. As an Aircraft Log Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of aircraft maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain aircraft logbooks and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Enter data into NALCOMIS OOMA database and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of maintenance documents and reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Two years of aviation clerical experience in maintaining aircraft logbooks and records.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to type 35 words per minute and operate computer software.
  • Knowledge of Navy and commercial aircraft maintenance procedures.
Working Conditions:

This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel to maintenance shops and hangars.
