Job Overview

Landmark Construction is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner to join our expanding team in Columbia, SC. As the sole HR representative for this branch, you will be instrumental in aligning HR and business practices, working closely with top-notch operational professionals.

About the Role

  • Supporting Departmental Growth: You will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives, leveraging HR expertise to enhance departmental performance.
  • Coaching and Feedback: Provide actionable guidance and constructive feedback to managers, empowering them to excel in their roles.
  • Talent Management: Facilitate annual and ongoing organizational processes, ensuring seamless execution and employee engagement.
  • Employee Relations: Collaborate with leaders and employees to resolve performance, compliance, and behavioral issues, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Culture Development: Partner with leadership to foster an inclusive, values-driven workplace culture that embodies Landmark Construction's vision and mission.
  • Change Management: Enable organizational change management efforts related to strategy, structure, and technology, driving continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience, preferably with depth in talent development, talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, organizational development, and other functional areas.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and construction or heavy industry HR experience.
  • Basic critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
