Phlebotomy Specialist

As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will play a critical role in our laboratory team, responsible for collecting blood samples from patients of all ages. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will ensure accurate and timely sample collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and following established protocols
- Process clinical specimens for diagnostic testing, ensuring accurate and timely results
- Access patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth sample collection and processing
Requirements:
- Certification as a PBT or MLA by a minimum knowledge-based exam such as the Board of Certification PBT(ASCP) or MLA(ASCP)
- High School Diploma/GED and Phlebotomy training and experience in an outpatient or hospital setting
