**Job Summary**

We're looking for a talented and charismatic leader to oversee our competitive cheer program. As the Director of Cheerleading Operations, you'll be responsible for creating and executing practice plans, developing routines, and guiding athletes in preparation for competitions. Your role will involve fostering a positive team culture and providing mentorship and instruction to athletes of all skill levels.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement practice plans, training sessions, and competition routines for our cheer teams.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of coaches and staff to support the cheer program.
  • Collaborate with the athletic department to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to athletes of all skill levels, including beginners and experienced cheerleaders.
  • Attend competitions, events, and meetings as required to represent the program and promote the sport of cheerleading.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 3 years of experience coaching competitive cheer teams.
  • Strong knowledge of cheerleading skills, choreography, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, athletes, and parents to achieve program goals.
  • Passion for cheerleading and a commitment to developing young athletes.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including evenings and weekends.

**Schedule**

The Director of Cheerleading Operations will work a part-time schedule, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. The schedule will include Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed to support program events and activities.

**Estimated Salary**

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
