Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at ConsultNet. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for assembling and testing industrial automation equipment, machinery, and fixtures using technical diagrams and blueprints.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and designers to assemble and test industrial automation equipment, machinery, and fixtures.
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Verify the accuracy of components and materials against the bill of materials before assembly.
- Measure precision parts and check clearances to ensure proper fit and function.
- Wire electrical control cabinets, panels, and circuits neatly and accurately, labeling wires as per electrical schematics.
- Communicate with engineers to address any issues related to fit, alignment, or interference, and make necessary adjustments as directed.
- Use hand and power tools efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, consistently adhering to safety protocols.
- Actively seek ways to enhance assembly processes, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certificate in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent experience and training.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in equipment assembly and repair, ideally within a light industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- High attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Competent in using hand and power tools.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
