Psychiatrist Consultant

Mid Cities Psychiatry is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team and provide high-quality care to patients. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work alongside physicians, physician assistants, and therapists to manage patient challenges and behavioral dysfunction.

This is a full-time position that involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with behavioral or emotional disorders for ages 16 and up. You will conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with behavioral or emotional disorders
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medication as needed
• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and follow up on patient progress
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A BC or BE in Psychiatry & Neurology
• An MD or DO degree
• Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas
• Strong clinical background with experience in Psychiatry
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems
• At least 2 years of experience in clinical settings

We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
