At Howard University Hospital, we are seeking a Patient Experience Business Partner to join our team. This role will play a critical part in leading the deployment, learning, and integration of our system-wide patient experience approach, Bridging the GAP, at the entity level.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare leadership, with experience in developing relationships with executives, directors, managers, and front-line staff. They will also have the ability to round on patients, help staff problem-solve systemic opportunities for improvement, and teach, train, communicate, and coach on the HUH approach to patient experience.

The Patient Experience Business Partner will utilize design thinking to solve unique patient experience complaints at the specific entity and deploy data collection and other patient feedback mechanisms. They will also partner with other HUH/AHC entities to learn best practices and assume other duties and responsibilities as related and appropriate to the position and area.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field preferred. They will also have 5 years of healthcare leadership experience, 1-5 years of management experience, and public speaking experience.
