Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cable Operations Trainer to join our team at IES Communications.

About the Role:

The primary responsibility of this position is to train employees in all IES Communications software systems and processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in low voltage project estimation and management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery:
    • Conduct training needs assessments by collecting information on work procedures, workflow, and reports.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training by assessing its application to specific job functions.
  • Quality Service:
    • Maintain high-quality service by establishing and enforcing program-specific standards.
  • Training Processes:
    • Implement best practices that add value and improve business performance.
  • System Access and Reporting:
    • Ensure all personnel have required access and understand their roles within IES systems.
  • Instructional Materials:
    • Develop comprehensive training materials for both classroom and eLearning experiences.
  • Employee Support:
    • Provide one-on-one training sessions to employees with questions or issues.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Certifications and Licenses:
    • Must possess certifications or licenses relevant to the role (e.g., BISCI Trainer or RCDD).
  • Work Experience:
    • A minimum of three years' experience in a PMA or higher-level role at IES.
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training, and contract administration.
    • Proficiency in IESOS, Spectrum, SharePoint, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
    • Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory practice preferred.
