Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Trash Collector to join our team at Valet Living. As an Apartment Service Valet, you will be responsible for collecting trash from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the onsite trash compactor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect trash from residents' doorsteps and transport it to the onsite trash compactor using a reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
  • Take required photos using our company's mobile app during service to track and document the collection process.
  • Work independently and safely, adapting to changing weather conditions and navigating multiple apartment communities.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs. and walk the distance of the property.
  • Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app.

Work Schedule:

Typically work 5 nights a week from Sunday through Thursday, with shifts ranging from 2-4 hours long, starting either at 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle.
  • Ability to adapt to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of changing weather conditions.
  • Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to walk the distance of the property and be exposed to disagreeable odors.
  • Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening.
  • Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app.
