Silicon Technologies Engineer

Cupertino, California, United States is home to one of the world's most innovative technology companies. As a Silicon Technologies Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and manufacturing next-generation system-on-chip (SoC) for Apple products.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Designer to join our team. In this highly transparent role, you will be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple devices. You will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient handling of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. You will collaborate with the architecture team to write microarchitecture specifications and define interfaces for pixel-processing IP.
  2. You will perform feasibility analysis on suggested architecture(s) and algorithm(s).
  3. You will implement RTL design and logic implementation of agreed architecture.
  4. You will integrate subsystems with internal and external IPs.
  5. You will perform front-end implementation tasks such as synthesis, logic equivalence check, and STA.

Requirements

  • Minimum of BS + 3 years relevant industry experience.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous strong experience in media, video, pixel, or display designs.
  • A good understanding of timing/area/complexity tradeoffs for sophisticated data path design.
  • Familiarity with common on-chip bus protocols such as AMBA (AXI, AHB, APB).
  • Experience in front-end implementation tasks such as synthesis, STA, and logic equivalence.
  • Industry exposure to ASIC/FPGA design methodology.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $143,100 - $264,200 per annum, based on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, you may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
