Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Fusing Technician to join our team at Equix Energy Services. As a Pipeline Fusing Technician, you will play a critical role in the construction and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of energy products.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to work with various types of pipe fusion equipment, including butt heat fusion, electrofusion, sidewall fusion, and socket fusion. You will be responsible for assisting with pipeline installations, performing inspection checks to ensure standards are being met, and maintaining hand and power tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Fusion of polyethylene pipe using various techniques, including butt heat fusion, electrofusion, sidewall fusion, and socket fusion.
  • Assist with pipeline installations, including excavation, trenching, and backfilling.
  • Perform regular inspection checks to ensure pipeline integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain and repair hand and power tools as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Class A CDL highly preferred.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
  • Will travel out of town to work on remote job sites as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
