Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Reverse Engineer to join our team at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. As an RF Engineering and Analysis Expert, you will play a key role in our software and hardware reverse engineering efforts, protocol analysis, vulnerability research, and developing cyber capabilities with a focus on embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct software and hardware reverse engineering to identify vulnerabilities and develop countermeasures
  • Analyze complex RF and communications systems to identify potential security risks
  • Develop and implement secure protocols for embedded systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security features into our products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in low-level embedded system programming, such as C and assembly
  • Knowledge of wireless communications systems and signal processing
  • Experience with RF lab equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators

Clearance Requirements

Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance by start date and ultimately obtain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
