We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism.

In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary responsibility will be to use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Children with autism require patience, compassion, and understanding, and we are looking for candidates who share these qualities. If you are passionate about helping children reach their full potential and have a strong desire to work in a dynamic team environment, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well with children and families from diverse backgrounds and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be physically fit, as you may be required to engage in activities such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and at times carrying children or objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.

Requirements
  • Aged 18 years or above.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.) and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
