Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Mixed-Signal IC Designer to join our dynamic team at Apple Silicon Engineering. As a member of our group, you will have the opportunity to craft upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple's customers every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuits for Apple's world-leading systems-on-chip (SOCs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets performance, power, and area requirements
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including schematics, layouts, and simulation results
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality designs
  • Work with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production and testing of designed circuits
Requirements
  • BSEE with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of mixed-signal design techniques, transistor operation, and device physics
  • Proficiency in Cadence schematic and layout entry tool (Virtuoso) and Spice simulation tools (e.g., HSpice, Spectre)
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python) and knowledge of C/Matlab/VerilogA modeling of AMS blocks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with high-speed circuits, low power and low noise design techniques, and high precision techniques in presence of device mismatch
  • Knowledge of static timing analysis and experience with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.
