Executive Underwriter Team Leader

Responsibilities:
* Manage underwriting process to ensure timely and accurate completion of internal guidelines and processes
* Provide technical direction and assistance to underwriting personnel
* Coordinate internal resources and influence outcomes to produce desired results on an account-by-account basis
* Act as a key contact to build, maintain, and manage customer/producer relationships
* Assist with agency/territory planning and goal setting, including monitoring of progress
* Identify accounts to target and cross-sell opportunities on existing accounts
* Meet with renewal customers as part of a Chubb team to make sales presentations and negotiate coverage, price, financial terms, and service delivery
* Work in a team environment with underwriters, actuaries, loss control, claims, and operations
* Meet service standards of a customer-focused strategy
* Collect and share competitor data with the team
Qualifications:
* Bachelor\u2019s degree
* At least 4+ years underwriting experience, including time spent in the primary casualty space
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Presentation and public speaking skills
* Strong negotiation skills
* Existing broker and insurance marketplace relationships
* Knowledge and understanding of current insurance marketplace conditions
* Understanding and adherence to organizational and regulatory rules, and ability to adhere to underwriting authority
* Understanding of Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Liability Insurance coverage, terms, and conditions
* Understanding of both guaranteed cost programs and large deductible programs, including the credit and collateral implications
* Ability to identify risk exposures, special or common hazards, and appropriate controls
* Ability to select risk based on exposure and hazard analysis
* Ability to analyze claims and loss trends
