Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Technician to join our team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Support Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
  • Provide a variety of clerical tasks, including organizing and prioritizing workload, greeting and directing visitors, and maintaining medical records.
  • Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ambulation.
  • Measure and record vital signs, and patient height and weight.
  • Reinforce routine teaching given to patients by the registered nurse or physician and document patient understanding of instructions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
  • Listed as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Service
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Requires six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience
