Excell Battery Customer Service Representative

Excell Battery, a leading provider of critical power solutions and communication systems, is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a key member of the customer support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to customers via phone, email, and chat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer support and address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Enter customer purchase orders into the ERP system and coordinate with shipping and production to schedule and expedite customer orders.
- Invoice orders as they are shipped to customers and perform other administrative duties as required to maintain excellent customer service.
- Work closely with other team members, including outside sales representatives, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Follow up on unresolved issues and customer inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience in customer service or a related field is required, with a strong preference for experience in a manufacturing organization.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Proficiency in using ERP software, email, and other office tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
- Attributes such as patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
Physical Requirements:
The employee must be able to sit for long periods and occasionally stand. The employee must also be able to lift 10 pounds, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
