Our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) programs focus on removing barriers to services and establishing meaningful relationships with each individual and family.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide side-by-side therapy and interventions to individuals, youth, and families that are evidence-based, focus on problem-solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement.
  • Ensure that treatment goals are culturally competent, strength-based, realistic, attainable, and promote recovery, involving each individual actively in their treatment and keeping them at the center of all care and development.
  • Provide clinical direction and interventions to support the treatment plan process, including but not limited to CBT modalities targeting symptoms, DBT, PE, CR, EMDR, FST, TF-CBT, CAMS, family therapies, integrated dual diagnosis treatment, self-management plans, and other clinical interventions.
  • Offer an experiential learning environment through shadowing to new clinical staff, supporting targeted treatment interventions and therapies, and maintaining and submitting a competencies/orientation checklist for new clinical staff.
  • Participate in groups where appropriate and indicated for individuals in Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) and support groups.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a current Massachusetts clinical license including LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LRC, LADCI, or be a Licensed Psychologist.
  • Must have strong clinical skills with at least 2 years of experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or substance use.
  • Must demonstrate advocacy, communication skills, and planning/facilitating groups.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work and for the transportation of individuals as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.
