Senior Calibration Engineer

At Ellab - Validation & Monitoring Solutions, we're seeking a skilled Senior Calibration Technician to join our team. This exciting opportunity involves performing routine and complex work related to the calibration of equipment and instrumentation in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device environment.
As a Senior Calibration Technician, you'll have the ability to work well in a team environment and be able to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision. You'll also be responsible for ensuring compliance with Ellab's ISO 9001 and 17025 accredited Quality System and all Customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex calibration work on equipment and instrumentation in various environments, including cleanrooms, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and production areas.
- Provide calibration and possibly other services as needed by the customer, using a variety of equipment and instruments, such as Centrifuges, Incubators, Refrigerators, freezers, bioreactors, pH meters, Conductivity meters, O2 sensors, CO2 Sensors, RPM's Temperature instruments, Pressure instruments, Humidity instruments, HVAC, Scales and Balances, Pipettes, Laser Particle Counters, Air Samplers, Dissolution Apparatus, Spectrophotometers, KF Titrators, Coulometers, Calipers, Micrometers, Mass Flow Controllers, Dissolved Oxygen, and more.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in calibration and related fields, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of calibration services and meet customer expectations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role will be stationed in the Durham NC area and may require short overnight stays throughout the calendar year, if necessary, to support on-site calibrations at multiple client sites within the region.

Requirements:
- A combination of training and experience is used to determine the sufficient skill requirements for an individual to be permitted to perform tasks.
- Senior Calibration Technicians are expected to continuously improve their skills through on-the-job training and education to achieve promotion to a higher level.
- Senior Calibration Technicians must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Senior Calibration Technicians are expected to be able to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Senior Calibration Technicians will ensure compliance with Ellab's ISO 9001 and 17025 accredited Quality System and all Customer requirements.
- GxP, IndySoft, ProCal, field service, and OSHA training and experience are preferred.
