Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Services Operations Manager to lead our team in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge network infrastructure at Rockline Industries & Iatric Manufacturing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network systems, voice communication, and data management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of skilled professionals responsible for infrastructure operations, network administration, system engineering, cybersecurity, and incident response.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end users in resolving network-related issues, including connectivity problems, VoIP telephony issues, and access to network resources.
  • Network Design and Deployment: Design, deploy, and maintain the plant's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability for voice and data communication.
  • Voice Communication Systems: Manage and support voice communication systems, such as IP telephony (VoIP) and unified communications (UC), to facilitate internal and external communication needs of the plant staff and stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Implement and maintain data storage and backup solutions to ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of plant data, including production data, inventory records, and operational documents.
  • Network Security: Implement and maintain robust network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, leveraging expertise in network protocols, technologies, and best practices to ensure prompt resolution of issues affecting voice and data communication.
  • Network Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime for both voice and data communication systems.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure network equipment, software, and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for voice and data communication systems.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to mitigate the impact of network failures or security breaches on voice and data communication systems, ensuring business continuity and data protection.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IS operations, network administration, or a similar role.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar are preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, proficiency in managing voice communication systems, experience with data management, expertise in network security measures, familiarity with system monitoring and optimization tools, and demonstrated ability to build and lead a team of skilled professionals.
