Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CAPPS Financials subject matter expert to join our team. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) and have a proven track record of providing technical input to complete training materials, reviewing documented process inventory, and facilitating live training sessions.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating a dynamic work environment, adapting to feedback, and answering questions throughout the design process. Strong communication skills and experience working collaboratively with clients are essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one operational support to system end users.
  • Develop comprehensive training documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures and Job Aids.
  • Facilitate live training sessions on CAPPS Financials topics.
  • Assist with updating business process maps to reflect actual state operations.
  • Contribute to design meetings and provide status updates to client leadership.

Qualifications
  • Experience advising Texas state agencies on CAPPS Financials configurations within the Purchasing, Accounts Payable, GL/KK, and Asset Management modules.
  • Experience designing business processes, including requirements gathering with end users.
  • Basic understanding of CAPPS Query Manager and BusinessObjects to support financial data research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

The estimated annual salary includes benefits, bonuses, and other forms of compensation.
