Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Center Support PT to join our team at FedEx Ground. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing documentation, and performing administrative tasks to ensure seamless freight operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers via phone, email, and fax
  • Process and verify documentation, including freight bills and reports
  • Administer freight pick-up and delivery processes
  • Assist with customer inquiries, including tracing shipments and resolving issues
  • Review and reconcile cash and checks collected
  • Perform other duties as required to support the service center
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of general office experience preferred
  • One year of customer service experience preferred
  • Previous transportation experience preferred
  • Strong phone and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to count and perform basic math
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend FedEx service products
  • Ability to use general office equipment
  • Typing/data entry skills
  • PC experience with ability to learn required computer systems
Working Conditions
  • Office/dock environment
  • Fast-paced; deadline-oriented
  • Hours may vary due to operational needs

Pay Transparency: Starting rate of pay: $18.68/hour
