HR/Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR/Payroll Specialist to join our team at David Carroll Associates, Inc. This is a full-time position that may involve working from home.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in HR/Payroll, with a strong background in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office. They will be responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing, onboarding/offboarding employees, responding to HR questions, and producing payroll reports.
The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. They will also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bi-weekly payroll processing
- Onboarding/offboarding employees
- Respond to HR questions
- Produce payroll reports
- Keep employee files current
- Arrange for certificates of insurance
- Stay current on licenses; trade certifications; DIR reporting; mandated educational programs
- Schedule meetings and trainings
- Attend weekly finance department meetings
- Train on our software to produce client invoices
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in HR/Payroll
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong computer skills, highly organized and detail-oriented
- High School diploma required; College Degree preferred
