Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Parkridge Medical Center. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary requirements are met.
  • Support physician-led time-out protocols and monitor sterile technique throughout procedures.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities, including counts, and communicate any concerns to the physician.
  • Communicate with other departments regarding patient transfers and conditions.
  • Comply with Infection Prevention and Hand Hygiene recommendations.
  • Complete Occurrence Reports as needed.
Requirements
  • State of Tennessee Registered Nurse or compact state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.
  • Graduate of an accredited RN Program.
  • 1 year Surgery experience preferred.
