Cardiac Catheterization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Cath Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care.

In this role, you will perform imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease.

• Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Perform duties with a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and theory.
• Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.

• Minimum: Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with Registry in Radiography ARRT (R) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
• Minimum: 6 months experience in specialty area as required to meet all Cardiac Cath competencies at the end of the orientation period.

• Registry in Vascular Interventional ARRT (VI) or Registry in Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist (RCIS) preferred.
• ARRT (VI) certification preferred.
