Greenhouse Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated Greenhouse Assistant & Sales Specialist to join our team at Gray's Garden Center.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and possess a strong knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with plant purchases, pest control, and disease prevention.
• Identify plant samples accurately using your knowledge of tree and shrub species.
• Operate a point-of-sale system efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales area by restocking and reorganizing products as needed.
• Perform general labor tasks, such as cleaning and pricing of plant material and merchandise.
• Carry out service and loading vehicles as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and excellent customer experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with point-of-sale systems (Windows-based).
• Able to lift 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends.
