We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Concrete Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our projects.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned estimator with a focus on commercial concrete projects. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, collaborating with project managers and teams, and ensuring the seamless execution of our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough estimates for concrete projects, considering all relevant factors, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate project planning, timelines, and budgets.
  • Review project documents and specifications to understand project requirements, including local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and best practices to develop competitive and accurate bids that meet client expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders throughout the estimating process, providing clear and concise updates on project progress.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and material availability to inform the estimating process and ensure competitiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior estimators as needed, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve estimating processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in structural concrete estimating, with a focus on commercial concrete projects.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, Planswift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with keen attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project milestones.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
