Radiation Oncology Physicist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Physicist to join our team at Epic Oncology Staffing. As a Radiation Oncology Physicist, you will be responsible for providing physics consultation to all Radiation Oncology personnel concerning aspects of patient care and treatment. This includes utilizing advanced medical equipment, such as the Varian 21iX Clinac, GE PET/CT, MOSAIQ ROIS, Eclipse, and RadCalc, to provide precise and effective treatment to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physics consultation to Radiation Oncology personnel
  • Utilize advanced medical equipment for precise and effective treatment
  • Work alongside a team of radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure accurate treatment planning and execution using QA tools like Profiler2, MapCheck2, SNC Routine, and 3D scanning system

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Medical Physics
  • Board certification (ABR)
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues
  • Self-motivated and organized with strong time management skills
