The company operates and maintains natural gas service for various utilities and cooperatives throughout Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
We offer a full range of services in the natural gas industry, including engineering, installation, maintenance, and operation of natural gas distribution systems.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Natural Gas Distribution Field Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the natural gas distribution field or utility industry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time position with benefits and requires a valid and clean Ohio driver's license.
Responsibilities- Respond to various work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform line locating and leak surveys, inspections, and compliance-related tasks.
- Annual maintenance of pipelines and facilities, including installation and removal of meters.
- Meter reading and installation of ERTs (Electronic Remote Terminal).
- Install pipelines, taps, and services as required.
- Oversee and inspect sub-contractors on assigned projects.
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment in good working condition.
- Complete necessary paperwork for daily tasks and maintain accurate records.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of related experience preferred but not required.
- Valid and clean Ohio driver's license.
- Willing and able to pass a drug and alcohol test (pre-employment and random).
- Willing to complete required online training and pipeline safety training programs.
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
