Piedmont Eastside RN - PACU, Holding Area Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) and Holding Area at Piedmont Eastside. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
  • Maintain standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

About the Role:

This RN will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients who have undergone surgery. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a nursing program. Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required. One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
