Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $19.77 per hour, based on industry standards and fair market evaluation.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Activities Director in implementing and planning group and individual activities for geriatric patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Activities Director in all areas
  • Taking daily attendance of group and individual resident contact
  • Maintaining, sorting, and distributing materials for activities
  • Performing Initial Assessment on new admissions
  • Distributing materials and assisting residents with singular activities
  • Regular consultation with the Activities Director regarding program ideas and resident involvement

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6 months experience working with geriatric patients or in activities-related field
  • Current NYS Nurse Aide Certification
  • Valid and violation-free NYS Drivers License
