Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented technologist to work with our interventional radiology team. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating angiographic equipment, performing diagnostic procedures, and assisting with emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate angiographic equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures, including biopsies, vascular stenting, catheter placement, and thrombolytic therapy.
- Assist attending and resident physicians during basic interventional and surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients and alert staff to life-threatening changes in patient status.
- Aid with emergency procedures, responding quickly and effectively as they occur.
- Process images, ensuring they are of diagnostic quality.
- Collaborate with clinical engineering staff to maintain consistent image quality.
- Competency in operating angiographic equipment and performing diagnostic procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
- Knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span.
- A competitive salary package, estimated at $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
