Job Title: Credit Administrator

Posillico Civil, Inc. is a leading construction company with a strong commitment to safety and excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Administrator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Credit Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the credit approval process, evaluating credit requests, and conducting credit checks. This role will ensure that credit limits are adhered to and the company credit policy is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and review credit applications, trade references, and bank reference forms.
  • Obtain copies of bonds for public jobs.
  • Send out trade reference forms and bank forms to customers.
  • Process credit inquiries and reports.
  • Review credit requests and submit them to the CFO for approval.
  • Communicate with customers regarding credit amounts extended and payment terms.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure credit limits and payment terms are adhered to.
  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding AR balances, open invoices, and collections.
  • Communicate with managers and salesmen regarding outstanding AR balances.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit-related tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to effectively deal with customers and project management staff.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent follow-through capability.
  • Construction industry experience is a plus.

Reports to: AR Credit Manager

Work Location: Farmingdale, NY

Compensation: $45,000-$60,000 commensurate with experience
