Job Summary

LSA Associates INC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Biologist to join its Point Richmond, California office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addressing regulatory compliance for Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, State of California under the Porter-Cologne Act, and State and Federal endangered species acts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage projects, including conducting meetings with clients and regulatory agencies, coordinating reviews with technical staff, scoping projects for the appropriate level of services needed, budget control, maintaining schedules, managing subconsultants, and conducting quality control.
  2. Conduct and/or supervise wetland delineations, and manage multiple projects for public and private clients requiring wetland and endangered species regulatory approval.
  3. Develop business development, marketing, and proposal preparation skills.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in natural or physical sciences is required.
  • Strong emphasis will be placed on previous technical experience, quality of work, and the ability to manage project budgets and schedules.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $71,000 to $154,000 per year, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
